Oslowool

Our most urban and luxurious yarn quality in a beautiful association between the finest Norwegian lambs wool and mulberry silk.

The Norwegian lamb's wool is especially known for its extra good resilience and is durable and glossy. We believe that it is a perfect fit together with silk, which is a heavier fiber. The spinning of Osloull is specially designed to make it extra soft right on the skin and to be extra durable. It is also as good in large garments as small garments. Also provides extra durability as a sock yarn due to the silk.

The yarn is hand-dyed on our small-scale spinneri. That means the yarn has shades, colour shades and no skeins are quite the same. We therefore recommend that you also make sure to buy enough for a project, as the colour batches are small.

Why Norwegian wool?

Norwegian sheep are known to stay the whole summer out in our beautiful landscape of mountains and fjords and have wool of high quality. But still, most of the yarn and wool products sold in Europe are from other parts of the world. The reasons are many, but here we have shown some of the advantages of locally produced Norwegian yarn.
